Cycling Gloves

Bikes can put a good deal of stress on the hands, transmitting road shocks up through the handlebars to the rider. This can be mitigated somewhat by riding position but is essentially inherent in most designs of upright bicycle. Racing and touring bicycles deliberately balance the rider's weight between the saddle and handlebars to give better aerodynamics, control and long-term comfort. Padded gloves or handlebar grips are a common solution to this problem.

It is important not to overdo the padding. Normally the hands will rest on the bones in the heel of the hand - too much padding will tend to press on the soft tissues between these and can compress the nerves in the hands, causing something akin to carpal tunnel syndrome.

Padded Cycling Gloves that Absorb Vibration

STOP hand pain and increase your endurance
 * Rugged padded neoprene
 * Absorbs vibration
 * Prevents calluses
 * Increases endurance
 * Open back keeps hands cool
 * Instant on and off
 * Can be worn over gloves in cool conditions

Neoprene NewGrips

change your hand geometry into a level padded surface so that weights or handles balance evenly across the entire surface of your palms. NewGrips have no finger holes to struggle with and are easy to put on and take. Extra padding eliminates hand pain. Grips prevent calluses and help old ones fade away.They pad your fingers, which gloves fail to do. Grips will not leave your hands hot, sweaty, stained or stinky.

"NewGrips provide much better protection for my hands than either bicycle gloves, which left my fingers exposed, or weight-lifting gloves, which made my hands hot, and didn’t last long for the price. Thanks again for your rowing gloves."
